This is a nice, room with a large West facing sliding glass door that opens onto a patio. The room is fully furnished and includes a twin bed, a desk, a small refrigerator and an Ikea wardrobe, a free standing shelf for groceries and other items. The room is private however there is NOT a conventional door and wall. The room is separated by a floor to ceiling heavy curtain. There are also large bookcases in the living room which create a wall like structure to make the space more private. We supply shampoo, soap, towels and fresh linens for the bed upon your arrival. We accept long term room rental. There is only one bed in this room. We do not provide housekeeping service, therefore linens, towels, cleaning the room are your responsibility, after your arrival. The price of this room is lower than most of the hostels in the area, where a person does not have the privacy of this room. As a courtesy if other guests or ourselves are at home, please let us know if you are using the bathroom for an extended period. Access to the kitchen is LIMITED and to be arranged prior to your stay. If you do use the kitchen, Please wash and put away your dishes immediately after each use. Any spills on the counters and floors need to be cleaned up right after your use. We have a vacuum, brooms, mop and cleaning supplies. There is a shared bathroom with an area for your toiletries, we ask that you leave your towels in your bedroom and keep the shower/tub area clear. There is a sitting area with a piano in the living room. If you would like to play, we generally ask that you please use headphones. Our apartment is in a great centrally located area of Los Angeles. Our neighborhood is safe, with street parking. The apartment is close to the 10 & 405 fwy, with lots of bus routes and a short walk to the Palms station of the Expo Line Metro Train. You can walk to shops, markets and restaurants. There is also a small park down the street with a playground, basketball court, picnic tables, barbecues and big trees. On Sunday there is a Farmers Market within a minute walk, where you can get fresh produce. We are friendly easy going people and the environment is peaceful and quiet. We do not take any smokers or pets. We are looking forward to having you stay with us!
