Terreno na Alapraia com projeto caducado de uma estrutura residencial para pessoas idosas, composta por 42 camas distribuídas por 23 quartos, que se pretende erigir no terreno com 4.553m2, já foram cedidos à Câmara Municipal Cascais 1767,00 m2 para arruamentos. Atualmente o projecto encontra-se aprovado e com Licença de Construção a pagamento. A estrutura residencial, para pessoas idosas, é constituída por dois pisos sendo o piso 0 destinado aos clientes e o piso -1 (cave) destinado apenas ao serviço do pessoal e parqueamento. Tomando como referencia as áreas funcionais exigidas pela Portaria nº 67/2012 de 21 de Março, Artigo 18ª temos:
O piso 0 contem: a receção, direção, instalação para o pessoal, sala de convívio e atividades, zona de refeições, alojamento para 42 utentes e serviço de enfermagem.
O Piso -1 (cave) está apenas reservado aos serviços, cargas/descargas, parqueamento para visitantes e zonas técnicas/arrumos, destacando-se os seguintes espaços: cozinha, lavandaria, serviços de apoio e vestiários. O objeto arquitetónico observa uma linguagem contemporânea, de traço simples em que a função é imperatriz da forma onde os espaços de convívio e de refeição convidam à participação do meio físico e social que rodeia o edifício, através da cobertura balançada e dos seus grandes vãos que convidam a olhar a realidade do interior do edifício o qual, também nos diz respeito enquanto membros de uma sociedade que se quer justa e digna. Clarabóias e outros pontos de luz natural permitem o aumento da eficiência energética e atribuí aos espaços iluminados vida e conforto. A parte espiritual também não é esquecida e existe um espaço de reflecção, a capela, onde o duplo pé direito nos eleva e as paredes opacas e cilíndricas protegem do exterior.

Taking as reference the functional areas required by Ordinance No. 67/2012 of March 21, Article 18 we have:
Floor 0 contains: reception, direction, staff facility, living room and activities, dining area, accommodation for 42 users and nursing service.
Floor -1 (basement) is only reserved for services, loads / discharges, parking for visitors and technical areas / storage, highlighting the following spaces: kitchen, laundry, support services and changing rooms.
