There is a large storage area and shed in the west separated by the car driveway, where wine and excess furniture used to be stored (now collapsed roof), another medium shed to the south for the tractors and garden tools etc. Further to the south there is a small ancient building in poor repair.

Over the river, there is a footbridge and upstream a sluice gate and a watermill with equipment to generate 1kw of electric power.

The famous cathedral town in Lisieux is only a 15-minute drive and the most famous beach resort of Deauville is an hour's drive. Paris is a 2.5hrs drive. D-day landing beaches are in close proximity of this property.

The property is overgrown and in poor repair and is a full renovation project and the photos date back to when it was in good repair.

La Chapelle-Yvon is a former commune in the Calvados department in the Normandy region in northwestern France. On 1 January 2016, it was merged into the new commune of Valorbiquet.
