Transport from / to the airport Train S7 and Cat (City Airport transfer) are the most reliable way to get to the airport. From your apartment, you can get to "Wien Mitte" on foot in about 10 minutes (800m) and from "Wien Mitte/Landstraße" you can take both trains (S7 and CAT). Or you can take the subway (U1-red line) from "Schwedenplatz" to "Praterstern" and from Praterstern with S7 to the airport.
