€5,300,000

In the rolling Montalbano countryside near Vinci, Leonardo da Vinci’s birthplace, this majestic historic hamlet of traditional association with the Renaissance master offers 2,000 sqm of internal surface across five independent buildings. Dating back to the 14th century and documented since the 16th century, the estate is currently undergoing a careful conservation restoration of its exterior structures. The exposed stone façades and traditional terracotta roofs have been fully restored, while the interiors remain in shell condition, allowing for bespoke completion. The planned project envisages 13 self-contained apartments, up to 20 bedrooms and 20 bathrooms, generous reception areas, a historic wine cellar with an ancient olive mill, and the possibility of creating a swimming pool. The principal 850 sqm residence includes a reception hall, lounge bar, professional kitchen and four exclusive double suites, two arranged over two levels, as well as an independent apartment. Further buildings include a 560 sqm farmhouse, a 175 sqm converted barn and a 121 sqm independent suite. A 110 sqm building is designed as a wellness area with sauna, hammam, changing rooms, herbal-tea area, terrace and gym. The 18-hectare estate includes 10,000 sqm of perimeter garden and a 17-hectare centuries-old olive grove with 2,200 productive trees, overlooking the Arno valley and historic Vinci.
