Perched on a panoramic plateau, this historic villa is a rare gem, combining aristocratic elegance with a breathtaking natural setting. Spanning 11 hectares, the estate features a centuries-old park, an Italian garden, and a private lake. The villa itself offers around 3,000 sqm of interior space, with frescoed rooms, period architectural details, and a refined, noble atmosphere. Though close to the town center, the property remains immersed in tranquility and privacy, making it ideal for a luxury home or high-end hospitality venue. Strategically positioned, the villa boasts sweeping views of Monte Cimone, Cengio, Summano, and Priaforà. Its origins lie in a medieval fortress, with the current residence built in 1752 by Count Girolamo di Velo, a member of a wealthy family linked to the silk trade. The estate was expanded under his direction, including structural reinforcements and the addition of a residential floor. Notably, the villa inspired Antonio Fogazzaro’s 1885 novel "Daniele Cortis". A red marble column mentioned in the story still stands in the garden. The architectural complex comprises three harmonious buildings and exquisite interiors, including frescoes attributed to Pietro Moro. With its rich heritage and stunning landscape, the estate offers unmatched potential as a prestigious private residence or luxury venue.
