A fully furnished private room is available immediately at 545 Sherbourne Street in downtown Toronto. Rent is $1,350 per month and includes utilities and high-speed fibre internet. The room is best suited for a student or young professional seeking a clean, quiet, and well-maintained living environment. The minimum stay is 3 months. 30 days’ notice mandatory before moving out. First and last month’s rent are required, along with a $500 deposit fee (deposit will be returned if there are no damages to the property/furniture and if 30 days notice to move out was properly given). A one time $100 move-out cleaning fee applies before moving in, and rent will increase by $20 annually. Cleanliness is a priority in this apartment. The ideal tenant is someone who is respectful, tidy, and willing to help maintain a clean shared space. This includes removing shoes indoors, washing hands after coming in from outside, washing and putting away dishes after use, keeping the private room clean, and cleaning up after using the kitchen and washroom. If you are not comfortable with regular cleaning and maintaining shared spaces, this may not be the right fit. This rental is intended for one person only, preferably someone moving in with luggage only. No couples, pets, parties, drugs, excessive alcohol use, or overnight guests. The tenant will also have their own freezer space, pantry space, cooking pots, cutlery, glasses, cups, plates, bowls, and blender. The shared living area includes a 75-inch TV with Google TV and Apple TV, a Google speaker, Wi-Fi printer, small table with two chairs, sofa, and an open exercise area. There is also a large furnished balcony with chairs, a coffee table, wood flooring, and an unobstructed west-facing view of the downtown skyline. The building is monitored by CCTV and has periodic security patrols. Amenities include a small gym with weights, cardio equipment, and multipurpose machines; a party room available for rent; a games room; laundry facilities ($2.80 washer and $2.20 dryer); and daily or monthly parking available for rent ($130.95 per month, not included). The building also has underground access to FreshCo. The location offers convenient access to TTC service. Bus 75 stops in front of the building and is one stop from Sherbourne subway station, with easy access to the Toronto Metropolitan University - TMU 5 min ride, and George Brown College 8 min ride. Bus 94 is nearby and connects to Wellesley subway station 5 min ride and the University of Toronto - U of T 15 min ride. Bike Share Toronto is located on the corner. The area is within walking distance of International Language Academy of Canada - ILAC ESL school 3 min walk, FreshCo, Food Basics, No Frills, Shoppers Drug Mart, Rexall, Canada Post, Tim Hortons, Wine Rack, McDonald’s, Subway, Fat Bastard Burrito, Popeyes, pizza shops, and other restaurants.
