Saint-Denis may be a suburb, but with Stade de France only a 13-minute walk from your apartment, it might feel like you're downtown on game days. Otherwise, you can enjoy the off-season with peaceful strolls through the wooded Parc de la Légion d'Honneur, and visit the Basilica of Saint-Denis on the park grounds. The canal is also close by, and just a little farther away is the Seine, which you'll most certainly want to visit if you're a film buff. Cité du Cinéma is located near the banks and is only a 30-minute walk away.
