A pochi passi dal Campo attraversiamo una grande corte e giungiamo al portone del nostro appartamento: dallingresso si apre la zona giorno, affacciata sulla corte da un lato e su una corte interna dallaltro. La cucina, attrezzata, si sviluppa in un accogliente angolo salotto, di fronte al quale troviamo la camera da letto e il bagno completo con doccia. Limmobile, recentemente ristrutturato e dotato di aria condizionata, è vascato e dotato di fosse settiche; lo consideriamo un graziosissimo pied-à-terre in centro storico, oltre che un ottimo investimento.

Il sestiere di Castello, il più esteso e tra i più antichi di Venezia, si trova all'estremità orientale della città. Da sempre uno dei quartieri più popolosi della città ha mantenuto intatto il tradizionale "stile di vita veneziano. Tra i numerosi monumenti ed opere d'arte non possiamo non citare l'Arsenale, per secoli culla della potenza della Serenissima, la Basilica dei SS. Giovanni e Paolo, una delle più amate dai veneziani, di S. Francesco in Vigna, di S. Maria Formosa.

We are just a stone's throw from Campo San Francesco della Vigna, which takes its name from the historic vineyards that once stood here. Near these vineyards stood a modest church dedicated to St Mark, replaced by the present Franciscan church, begun by Jacopo Sansovino in 1534 and whose grandiose façade was entrusted to Andrea Palladio. This is some of the greatest architecture of the Venetian Renaissance. A few steps from the Campo we cross a large courtyard and arrive at the door of our flat: the entrance opens onto the living area, overlooking the courtyard on one side and an internal courtyard on the other. The kitchen, fully equipped, develops into a cosy sitting area, opposite which we find the bedroom and the complete bathroom with shower. The property, recently renovated and air-conditioned, is vascato and equipped with septic tanks; we consider it a very pretty pied-à-terre in the historic centre, as well as an excellent investment.

The Castello district, the largest and among the oldest in Venice, is located at the eastern end of the city. Always one of the most densely populated districts of the city, it has maintained the traditional 'Venetian way of life' intact. Among the numerous monuments and works of art, we cannot fail to mention the Arsenale, for centuries the cradle of the power of the Serenissima, the Basilica of Saints John and Paul, one of the most beloved by Venetians, of S. Francesco in Vigna, of S. Maria Formosa.
The property is located near the Arsenale and a few steps away from the Celestia vaporetto stop that allows you to reach any point in the city.
