Casa da Quinta is a small rural homestead project in northern Portugal, where we have been slowly restoring old stone buildings and creating a place connected to nature, local traditions and everyday rural life. This independent apartment is located

alongside the homestead, offering privacy, comfort and a peaceful rural setting while remaining close to the small town of Paredes de Coura and the surrounding region. Designed for medium and long-term stays, the apartment offers a private bedroom, a comfortable living area with a sofa bed, a practical kitchenette and a private bathroom, making it an ideal home for solo travellers, couples and remote workers looking for a peaceful place to stay for a few weeks or months. Located on the upper floor of a restored traditional stone building, the apartment combines the character of local architecture with a simple, comfortable and functional interior. Stone walls and a calm atmosphere create a cosy space to relax, work remotely or simply enjoy a slower rhythm of life. Guests have access to the shared stone courtyard, a charming outdoor space shared with our other independent accommodation, O Ninho, located in the restored Casa do Forno next door. The courtyard is separated from the private areas of the homestead, allowing guests to enjoy their own peaceful space while still feeling connected to the surroundings. Located off the beaten path, yet well connected, Casa da Quinta offers a peaceful rural base for discovering Alto Minho and northern Portugal at your own pace. The small town of Paredes de Coura, with cafés, restaurants, supermarkets and local services, is just a short drive away. From here, you can easily explore the region, with places such as Ponte de Lima, Tui, Viana do Castelo, Braga and Vigo within reach by car. The apartment includes free private parking, high-speed Wi-Fi, heating, and shared access to a washing machine and dryer, providing everything needed for a comfortable stay, whether you are visiting for a few days, several weeks or a few months.
