Our ground floor apartment is located close to the shoreline of the Aveiro lagoon (Ria de Aveiro) in São Jacinto. It's only steps away from this very quiet fishing village's Ria harbor promenade, and a 15 minute walk from spectacular and unspoilt São Jacinto

Beach and the Dunas Natural Reserve. IMPORTANT: This accommodation will not suit your needs If you are looking to stay in direct proximity to downtown Aveiro and its university campus. São Jacinto is a beach community which officially belongs to the city of Aveiro. It takes 20-25 minutes by ferry and car or bus to reach the actual city center on the other side of the Ria de Aveiro lagoon, or 55 minutes by car when driving all around the upper part of the lagoon. SAFETY & PRIVACY: We value and respect the privacy of our guests. For added security, surveillance cameras are installed and active 24/7 OUTSIDE the apartment to monitor the building entrances and exits. Our guests, many of them creatives and developers on "work-ation" or on a temporary assignment to Aveiro, love this location for its remote, "off-the-grid" feel, close to nature and with great restaurants and a bakery nearby. If you need city "action" and nightlife, do NOT book.
