Casa Matoso is a 1-bedroom house in the heart of the village, completely renovated in 2026 by an architecture studio that kept its traditional character and gave it the comfort of a new home. The living room has double-height ceilings with exposed wooden beams and a south-facing window. The bedroom is upstairs on a mezzanine overlooking the living space. The floors are handmade Santa Catarina terracotta, running from inside out to the garden. The kitchen has a marble worktop and the bathroom is finished in microcement. Behind the finishes, everything is new: plumbing, electrics and full insulation, with an energy rating of B. Outside there's a south-facing garden, sheltered from the wind, with an outdoor hot shower, perfect after a day at the beach. You can walk to cafés and shops, and the beaches of the Costa Vicentina and Sagres are just minutes away by car. A great place to live, or a solid investment with potential for holiday rental.
