The area surrounding the house is also worth a visit, specially the famous Oporto Wine cellars and the Douro river banks overlooking the iconic Ribeira and the D. Luis Bridge. House Beautifully decorated house, full of history and exquisite details. It has a very cozy atmosphere enhanced by the beautiful wooden stairways and authentic stone wall. It's the absolutely perfect place for couples, families or small groups of friends looking to embrace the Portuguese hospitality. Bedrooms In the upper floor there's a very roomy and elegant suite with a queen-size bed, while in the lower floor, a second bedroom with two single beds and a writing desk. Bathrooms The apartment has two bathrooms with shower. Living/Dining Room The living room has a flat screen TV, an inviting sofa and a dining table for 4. Kitchen The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, washing machine and coffee maker (coffee not included). Additional Info: City Tax will also be charged in the amount of 2 per night per person. This Tax will only be applied for the first 7 nights. The property is Self-Catered. Complimentary basic items are provided for your arrival, including first-day toiletries, toilet paper, etc. These items are offered on a welcome basis only - replacements or re-fills are not provided. Bed and bath linen are provided according to the number of guests confirmed in the reservation. For stays longer than 7 nights, additional bed and bath linen will be provided for free at the check-in. The Cleaning Fee included in your reservation covers the check-out cleaning only. Extra cleanings or fresh linens can be requested during your stay and are subject to an extra fee - these requests must be done with at least 24 hours in advance. Check-in time starts from 15:00 to 22:00 (additional cost of 25 for check-ins after 22:00). Only one set of keys will be provided. We are obligated by Portuguese law to collect our guest's Passport information. Check-out must be done until 11am. Before leaving, please place the keys on the main table. Never leave them inside the lock or in the mailbox. Be aware that in case of loss or damage of the keys (or lock), a penalty fee will be applied.
