Overview

Quinta do Campo, dating from the 13th century, is the only example in Portugal of the medieval architecture of the Cistercian estates, considered also as the best preserved in the entire Iberian Peninsula. It was classified as a National Public Interest Property in 2005, having been the target of several interventions over the centuries, due to the necessary architectural preservation requirements.
