## Space The owners of this traditional Portuguese city apartment have renovated it to modern standards in

spring 2022 so you can enjoy this lovely and comfortable apartment for your holidays in Portimão. It is well located, just outside the old town center (15 minutes walking) in a quiet, residential neighbourhood on the west side of Portimão. It sleeps up to 6 persons, is completely private and fully equipped. All rooms have large windows that let in
lots of light and the location is easy to get to by car, with lots of free parking space along the street in front. The apartment has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, one with bath, one with shower. Bedroom 1: large double bed Bedroom 2: 2 single beds, ideal as kids room Bedroom 3: 2 single beds that can be easily pushed together. The apartment is located on the quieter west side of Portimão outside the old town center, which is about 15 minutes by foot. The beaches are less than 5 minutes by car, or 30 minutes on foot. A small shopping mall and various large supermarkets are just around the corner as are a wide variety of local bars and restaurants. Also around the corner is a large natural area where you can enjoy a calm stroll when you want to escape the city life. ## Access Guests have access to the entire apartment for optimal privacy and space. Fully equipped kitchen Wifi and television Linen and towels are provided We usually welcome families with children or responsible adults because the apartment is part of a quiet condominium with lots of residential owners. Parties and other disturbances are not accepted. So please read it carefully before your arrival and let us know if you need anything or have any questions. ## Neighborhood Our apartment is located in a residential neighbourhood located to the west of the old town center. The town centre and marina are about 15 minutes walking away, and a small shopping mall and various supermarkets are just around the corner. The big commercial centre and Aqua shopping mall are just 5 minutes by car or about 30 minutes walking from here. From Faro airport, it takes about 40 minutes by car/taxi. Portimão is a lively and historic beach town. You can find several gorgeous beaches, bars, restaurants and shops, and Portuguese folklore in the small streets of the old town in abundance. When you're done relaxing in the sun, you can choose from many activities in the area, like watersports, boating, hiking (mountain biking), and golfing, at one of the many golf resorts in the area. There is a modern shopping centre available as well. Although you can easily entertain yourself for some time in Portimão, it is also a perfect central location to explore other towns and beaches and the small mountains and landscapes of the inland Algarve. For such trips a (hire) car is ideal, but you will be able to get around with public transport and guided tours. ## Transit You can get to the apartment in 50 minutes by car and about 3 hours by public transport from Faro airport. The beach is within walking distance. If you want to explore the area, a (rental) car will make your life much easier as public transport is limited but it will also get you around. In Portimão town you can easily walk to most of the destinations, or use public transport as well. There are taxis and Ubers available. ## Notes Check-in time: 4 - 9pm Check-out time: before 10am SEF REQUIREMENTS. All property owners in Portugal have a legal requirement to report tourists' and guests' information to Serviço de Estrangeiros e Fronteiras (known short as SEF). To comply with legal requirements, from a week before arrival, we shall send you a link to our SEF form for you to complete and send back to us before your arrival. It is a mandatory requirement.
