This is a month-to-month lease and a great opportunity to live near the beach at an affordable rate. The home will be completely unfurnished, giving you the opportunity to make the space your own. Since I’ll be moving out after the initial 3 months, I don’t plan to furnish the home myself. You’ll have the opportunity to furnish and decorate the entire home to your liking starting on move-in day, including: Your bedroom Living room Kitchen Bathroom Bring your own furniture, decorations, and style and make the space feel like home from day one. The initial arrangement will be for you to live with me for approximately 3 months. After those 3 months, I’ll be moving out, and you’ll have the opportunity to continue living in the home with cheap rent by the beach and choose your own new roommate. This gives you the flexibility to settle in, make the space your own, and eventually choose someone you’re comfortable living with. Move-In Costs Due at move-in: Prorated rent for the remainder of October: $840 Security deposit: $500 Total due at move-in: $1,340 Additional Landlord Fees Paid directly to the landlord: $52 application fee — background and credit check $50 roommate change fee Housemate Expectations I’m looking for someone who is responsible, respectful, clean, and easy to live with. Since we’ll be sharing the home, it’s important that we’re on the same page about maintaining a comfortable living environment. Noise Please be mindful of noise, especially during reasonable quiet hours. I’m looking for someone who enjoys having fun but also respects that we’re sharing a home. Cleanliness Clean up after yourself and keep shared spaces reasonably clean. The goal is for the home to feel comfortable for both of us without one person feeling responsible for all of the cleaning. Common Areas Shared spaces such as the living room, kitchen, and bathroom should be shared equitably. Please be respectful of each other’s belongings and avoid monopolizing common areas. Guests Guests are welcome with reasonable notice and consideration for the other person. Frequent or extended guests should be discussed beforehand so we can make sure the arrangement works for both of us. House Rules No pets No couples No smoking or vaping indoors No drug use No excessive drinking Respectful communication and consideration for the other person are important.
