I rent in a really wonderful house in Congress Park (2 blocks from City Park!) and we have one private room available now. The available room is spacious & downstairs with hardwood floors, extra high ceilings, and two very large closets (both walk-ins). The room shares the downstairs bathroom with 1 other person (there is a separate bathroom for the master room). Comes with 2 excellent housemates ???? Details: - Rent is 950 plus utilities split 3 ways (usually 100-150 each). - Available now and can discuss prorated rent if you're moving partial month - 12 month lease, followed by month-to-month after the first year. Security deposit is one month of rent, and each tenant signs their own agreement with the landlord. - Bedroom is unfurnished, but the common areas are furnished. - One well behaved cat could be welcome, however no dogs About the house: Amazing location - centrally located in Denver in the Bluebird Theatre district., only 2 blocks from City Park (my fav park!) and 15 minute walk to Cheesman Park and the Botanic gardens). Tons of old house character, kitchen with gas stove and dishwasher; laundry room with washer/dryer; central heating and AC; garage out back that we currently use as a workshop/storage space (there’ll be plenty of room to add your own stuff); unfinished basement with additional storage space; and a charming back yard filled with perennial plants and empty space to plant your own if you like. There are not any parking spots but I’m able to park on our street 99% of the time. About the housemates: 36f - By day, I work in a hybrid software job. Outside of work, I enjoy some of the typical colorado activities like hiking, cycling, and camping. On a weeknight evening, I might go to the gym, cook a good meal, and curl up with my book, or meet my friends for a drink and a board game. Within the house, I appreciate a clean space, and considerate and communicative housemates. 28f - works hybrid, but mostly in the office. Outside of work, I like to hang with friends, check out local events, practice jiu jitsu or watch movies. I appreciate a good balance of community and alone time in living situations. Looking for a friendly, respectful, considerate roommate, preferably in their late 20s or 30s, clean, no smoking inside, and someone who likes living in social households, but also their personal space.
