A newly renovated home on a quiet Portage Park street. Most shared houses have five to eight members. This one has two private bedrooms total. Your room is fully furnished: queen bed with fresh linens, blackout curtains, ceiling fan, closet and its own wall-mounted TV. Shared space includes a renovated kitchen — gas range, full-size fridge, microwave, stocked with cookware, dishes and flatware, plus a living room with two sofas and a mounted TV and a dining table for four. Hardwood floors throughout. Keypad entry, no keys to lose. Laundry is inside the unit. Brand-new washer and dryer, free to use. No laundromat, no quarters. One weekly payment covers everything: room, electricity, gas, water, trash, high-speed WiFi and laundry. Nothing to set up. Getting around: the #85 Central bus is two blocks away and runs to Jefferson Park Transit Center — Blue Line downtown in about 25 minutes. The Kennedy is a short drive and O'Hare is 15–20 minutes. Quiet, tree-lined Northwest Side street. Groceries, pharmacies, gyms and the Six Corners shopping district are minutes away, and Community First Medical Center is a 5-minute walk. Free street parking; garage parking available for an added fee.
