We have a private room and private bathroom available in our home. And if you move in before the holidays, your own stocking on the wall! You would also full access to the kitchen, living room, laundry room, patio (with comfy patio furniture), and porch. There is also a full size (8 ft tall) cabinet in the garage for storage that comes with the room, and some additional storage room. The home and appliances are all brand new (2025). The house has three stories and lots of space, so it feels very open, especially because Diane and David live on a separate third floor level. The bedroom for rent is nice and quiet, it does not share walls with any other bedrooms. The housemate is moving to a different area of OC, she is happy to show off her room if you are interested in seeing it. She will being moving Dec 1st. We are flexible on move in date (as early as Dec 1st, and as late as Feb 1st). Guests are welcomed (within reason), but only one primary occupant in the room. The rent is $1250 per month. The lease can either be 1 year or until end of August. If the lease is 1 year for 2026 and then renewed for 2027, we do not raise rent for 2027. Our ideal is finding someone who is interested in a longer stay, but open to different options. The utilities+communal costs are prepaid each month at rate of $215 per month, and if costs are lower (which they usually are), then the the extra is refunded. The utilities include: Maid service, electric, Internet, water, trash, gas, communal costs (e.g., kitchen supplies, paper towels, dishwasher pods, items bought for shared use). Also includes access every streaming service in living room (Hulu, Netflix, Paramount, Peacock, Amazon, Apple, YoutubeTV). We are a 5 minute walk from the biggest park in the Great Park Neighborhoods. The Aluna park has pools, basketball court, walking path, and pickleball, and we have access to all of the parks in the neighborhood.
