Un gattino miagola e scavalca il muretto, come per dire "seguimi!". C'è profumo di gelsomino. Facciamo alcuni passi e, svoltato l'angolo della stradina di campagna, si apre il cortile dove una volta i bambini giocavano a pallone durante la ricreazione. Oggi, però, è una fattoria. Il piazzale rettangolare è circondato dai fabbricati di vario tipo: ci sono un magazzino, una casa e una stalla. Questi vani abbracciano lo spazio aperto centrale come le agorà dell'antica grecia. Può essere un giardino, un parcheggio, un orto, un campo da pallavolo oppure un equilibrio tra queste cose. Una bouganville viola per godere dell'ombra purpurea ci starebbe proprio bene! Proprio come il tavolino esterno in pietra, che si affaccia dalla veranda sul piazzale. Scendendo lungo questo lato della casa, troviamo anche una fontana esterna, perfetta per annaffiare le piante, per sciacquare utensili oppure riempire la ciotola al nostro amico felino, che ci accompagna durante la visita tra uno struscino e un altro. Anche oggi splende il sole e fa caldo, così decidiamo di entrare. La casa è fresca e ariosa. Si vede che richiede un intervento di ammodernamento, ma si configura come abitabile. Il tutto si struttura attorno allo spazio esterno, quindi tutti i vani principali hanno accesso diretto al cortile. Abbiamo dunque un soggiorno, una camera matrimoniale molto ampia e una singola, che allo stato attuale, è una soluzione per bambini e ospiti. Il tutto è collegato internamente da un lungo corridoio. Da aggiungere ci sono poi i vani, che richiedono un intervento più serio, qual ora si volessero creare delle camere o zone aggiuntive. Allo stato attuale abbiamo dunque un ampio magazzino, che può essere un garage oppure ristrutturato secondo la propria creatività , una stalla e un deposito. Le opportunità sono molte, può essere l'ottimale per un'azienda agricola locale, una seconda casa oppure un investimento che, con un po' di fantasia, potrebbe dare frutto a una realtà particolare, con un giardino fiorito e alberato, una piscina, dando maggiore sviluppo alla veranda e riorganizzando gli spazi interni, giocando sul contrasto fra tradizione e innovazione. Il nostro amico gatto interrompe il nostro flusso di pensieri con un miagolio: è ora di andare a pranzo, ma col profumo di gelsomino addosso e la testa che ancora viaggia, tra un sogno e l'altro.

Even today the sun shines and it is hot, so we decide to enter. The house is fresh and airy. It is evident that it requires modernization, but it is configured as habitable. Everything is structured around the outdoor space, so all the main rooms have direct access to the courtyard. We therefore have a living room, a very large double bedroom and a single bedroom, which at present is a solution for children and guests. Everything is internally connected by a long corridor. To be added there are also the rooms, which require more serious intervention, as soon as you want to create rooms or additional areas. At present we have a large storage room, which can be a garage or renovated according to your creativity, a barn and a storage. The opportunities are many, it can be the ideal place for a local farm, a second home or an investment that, with some imagination, could bear fruit to a particular reality, with a flowery and tree-lined garden, a swimming pool, giving more development to the veranda and rearrange the interior spaces, playing on the contrast between tradition and innovation.
