The living room is very bright, has high ceilings and measures about 70 square meters. It is divided into three separate areas: a large dining area with a beautiful wooden dining-table and an attractive sunny balcony, a generous sitting area with an L-shaped sofa and in the front next to the kitchen a cozy fireplace with a wood-burning stove. A large skylight lets in even more light: a crackling fire in winter and above you twinkling stars - what more could you want? The open-plan kitchen has a "breakfast bar", a very good stove, large fridge and a dishwasher. A large larder provides space for essentials such as a freezer, provisions, wood for the oven and other things. The apartment has two large separate bedrooms. which face east and, like the terrace, receive the morning sunshine. The master bedroom has a large king size bed and a desk. The second bedroom a smaller double bed and built-in storage cupboards. All rooms have central heating. On entering through the front door, you will find beautiful stone tiles in the hall and bathroom. The bathroom, which is also light and sunny, comes with a floor to ceiling shower and is equipped with a high quality new washing machine. Next to the bedroom is a large store room, which is suitable for clothes, shoes and other things like vacuum cleaner, etc. Behind the house there is a courtyard with communal garden, lawn and children's play area. Two Underground stops will take you to the UFA-Fabrik, a cultural oasis with performance art, concerts and entertainment. The famous 'Bergmannkiez' (the fashionable area of Kreuzberg) is a mere 10-15 minutes trip by Underground on the U6 or by bicycle. Downloads and/or streaming of movies, music or any other is not allowed (in Germany illegal downloads or streaming are forbidden and punished with expensive fines). The tenant is responsible of paying these fines. We strongly recommend a regular cleaning service and maintenance of the apartment. At the end of your tenancy there is a final cleaning fee due. We charge for a regular final cleaning (incl. 3 hours): 75,00, every additional hour costs 25,00 in case that the apartment require an extensive cleaning work.
