As a member you have access to dedicated coworking spaces and an on-demand fitness app. You will also have the option for in-person access to more than 200 studios in New York for an additional payment through the app. During the booking process, we conduct a thorough verification to ensure the safety and comfort of our community. Please be prepared to provide the following: your ID, two recent bank statements, two recent pay stubs, and details about your rental history. If you are a student or international student, you will also need to provide information about your guarantor or sponsor. This way, you can have peace of mind knowing that all your roommates have been carefully screened. HOME Our New York Friends Home is a renovated apartment located in the heart of Brooklyn which will make your everyday life as comfortable as it possibly can be: weekly cleaning, all great sized and well-designed rooms, comfortable transportation, spacious living room with smart TV. You cover a monthly fee and everything comes included: no utility bills, no unexpected maintenance costs! Please note that all images represent actual rooms in the house and serve as examples of the rooms we offer. We cannot guarantee a specific room as it depends on availability at the time of your check-in. However, the layout and features of all rooms are consistent with those shown in the listing. BEDROOM You will be accommodated in a bed in the shared twin room or a private room, of your choice, with a comfortable bed, desk (in some rooms), closet, and an individual safe provided. All rooms are carefully designed to maximize your living space without compromising your comfort. Your room will be move-in ready and fully furnished, there's no need to even bring a pillow:) All shared rooms are non-mixed gender. Each room feels calm, spacious, and light, offering the ideal respite from busy city living. COMMON AREAS New York Friends Home was exclusively designed to be comfortable for all members in any room of the house. Our Co-living space includes a spacious dining room, a chill zone with a huge TV with Netflix, and a kitchen, allowing you plenty of room to cook, work, and relax, all while getting to know people from all around the world. Our kitchen is fully stocked with appliances, cookware, and everything else you'll need to make a home-cooked meal. It also included: coffee grounds, tea, paper towels, dish soap, hand soap, and garbage/recycling bags, all of which are routinely restocked. We provide: many bathroom essentials and there are never queues - you'll never have to wait...; regular weekly cleaning so you can focus fully on your work or study; all our cleaning supplies are eco-friendly and allergen-free; 24/7 security cameras in all common areas. NEIGHBORHOOD The apartment is located in the lovely neighborhood on the border of Bed-Stuy and Bushwick, a wave of nightclubs, Neapolitan pizzerias, and newfangled arcades have popped up alongside the family-run groceries and flower shops. Easy access to the subway, just 5 min by walk to trains J, Z, and M which are great options to get into Manhattan in 20-30 min.
